CAPELLA UBUD
Capella Ubud, Bali is a secluded jungle camp set within a 3.5-hectare conserved tropical forest in the village of Keliki, between the Wos streams and surrounding rice fields. Restored Heritage Living in Uluwatu
The Asa Maia in an intimate wellness retreat in Bali’s starkly picturesque Uluwatu peninsula. About 90% of the wood used at the site is recycled wood. The 10 guest suites are refurbished century-old Javanese structures known as Gladaks, each originating from a different area in East Java. These Gladaks were carefully dismantled, transported, and reassembled on-site, ensuring each one is unique. Various reclaimed teak elements, such as flat ceilings, cabinets, and railings, are incorporated throughout the property. Even scrap wood has been repurposed to create hotel amenities and furniture, including clothes hangers, bedside tables, and beds.
