Kanvaz Pâtisserie by Vincent Nigita introduces new flavours and standards to the Indonesian market with a Parisian touch, while respecting the culture, tastes and rich lands that have so much to offer.
Opened less than a year ago, the pastry shop allows people to indulge themselves with a large selection of cakes, bakeries, chocolate and other treats, to be enjoyed on site or to be shared back home. Few steps away, just behind the colonial façade, stand the Tea Room where guests can enjoy savoury options all day long, additionally to our classic sweets, in a comfortable and beautiful dining ambiance.
For us it is fundamental to do everything within our capacities to preserve this piece of paradise, but also and mainly, to educate our pairs.
Leading by example seems the obvious first step in the process. We totally avois single-use plastic items such as straws and cutlery; All our packages are made of paper or other biodegradable matters; We reuse plastic containers from our supplies to portion transformed products; We recycle our beverage bottles and sterilize them afterward with a specialized machine we purchased specifically for this purpose.
Doing so, we believe not only our guests can notice the gestures, but also our own team members, whom are building alternative solutions references useful for their future career experiences, where they will be able to repeat these or even create their own.
