"Indowines, our mother company, took part in 2022’s edition of Bali’s Bigger Beach Clean, hosted by Youthtopia. All company staff joined the clean up. 3,981 people joined in 130 locations on the island of Bali and collected 11,7 tons consisting of 88,094 pieces of non-organic trash, but we collected more. This clean up prevented almost 12 tons of waste from entering our waterways and ending up in the ocean.
We have a on-going partnership development with Sungai Watch. Sponsoring numerous Sungai Watch river/ beach clean up, as well as launching our own Kura Kura x Sungai Watch Barrier located on Canggu Shortcut in October 22.
We work alongside neighbouring villages to provide job opportunities within the brewery and donate all our spent grains to nearby farms as feed."
"To celebrate 2020’s Earth Day, we created a can-struction of recycled Kura Kura cans to spread awareness and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. The installation was showcased at The Lawn, Canggu with all profits from Kura Kura sales that weekend donated to Sungai Watch. We raised a total of over IDR 7 million for Sungai Watch.
We created a pick-up program with Sungai Watch for all venues who stock us to have free pick up of used cans and in collaboration with Indosole, we created upcycled coasters from recycled tyres to promote sustainability. We also produced a cooler bag from up-cycled grain bags, and use 100% recyclable packaging."
