A curated circle of leading brands
The Punch is not a directory. It is an independent editorial platform built over three years in Bali — curating, documenting, and championing the businesses that are genuinely shaping the island's future. Every business we feature was found by our team. Selected for how it operates, who built it, and the impact it creates. Not for how much it spends on marketing.
If your business belongs here, we would like to tell your story.

Why The Punch
Bali is one of the most documented places on earth. And yet the businesses doing something genuinely meaningful are consistently harder to find than the ones that simply look good online.
The Punch was built to change that. Through independent editorial curation and deep storytelling, we go beyond aesthetics to explore why a place matters, how it operates, and what it contributes to the island. Our platform is used by conscious travellers and entrepreneurs who are done with surface-level recommendations — and by businesses who want to be understood, not just seen.
We do not accept every business that applies. We do not take advertising. Every feature is editorial — built on genuine assessment and genuine belief in what the business stands for.

How We Work
Collaborations are built around yearly membership — supporting businesses over time rather than offering short-term exposure. Every business is assessed against The Punch's 15 Conscious Commitments before joining.
Depending on your membership tier, your collaboration includes a combination of the following:
• Curated listing on The Punch List
• Complete business profile
• Founder interview — values, vision, and leadership
• In-depth editorial feature — storytelling with purpose
• Documentary reel — your people, your process, your craft
• Professional photography — editorial visuals
• Sustainability profile — your commitments made visible
• Newsletter and social features — direct reach
• The Punch Awards eligibility — annual recognition

“In my experience, the Punch Uncovered Bali Project appears to be one that is interested in honesty. Showing the full picture of inspiring projects, what it means to strive to create beautiful experiences or do great things in Bali. Looking at unique creators and founders that have overcome challenges to build or produce one of a kind results. I recommend others to support initiatives of this nature that aren’t seeking to gloss over the real issues we must all face to create a better Bali in the future. This is no ’click-bait’ venture."
Brandon Van Slyke, Co-Founder of Hideout Bali
"So much of what Terra does in terms of sustainability is behind the scenes: from our zero waste manufacturing to our intensive six-step quality control process. The Punch Project has given us an opportunity to tell the entire story of cradle to delivery of our natural water filters. Their team didn’t just show up and take fantastic photos and video of our factory, they dedicated time with our team, asking questions and documenting every step of our process. Rarely is there a company so professional that we’d trust them to represent us completely through this journey, a journey that is often untold but the backbone of the businesses we run. We’re looking forward to a long-term partnership with the Punch and can’t wait for the Project to come out!"
Christine Manson, Founder of Terra Water Indonesia
