From self-assessment to site visit, we guide you every step of the way — celebrating your strengths and making sure your values are seen.
In just four weeks, you’ll join a trusted collective shaping Bali’s sustainable future.

1. APPLICATION & SELF-ASSESSMENT (WEEK 1)
Begin your certification journey by completing The Punch Certification Form. You’ll select at least 10 of the 15 Punch Commitments your business actively upholds — covering environmental responsibility, community support, and ethical practices. This initial step gives us a clear understanding of your values, current efforts, and the impact you’re already making.
2. INITIAL REVIEW (WEEK 2)
Once we receive your completed form, our team conducts a thorough review to ensure all information is complete and aligns with The Punch Certification standards.
During this phase, we may contact you to:
• Clarify any details or commitments you’ve indicated
• Request supporting documents
• Ask for supplier lists or evidence of partnerships
This review helps us prepare for a more effective on-site visit and ensures transparency throughout the certification process.
3. ON-SITE VISIT & INTERVIEWS (WEEK 3)
We arrange a visit to your business location to gain a firsthand understanding of how your selected commitments are actively put into practice. This visit is a crucial step to verify and validate your sustainability efforts beyond the submitted documents.
During the visit, our team will:
• Observe daily operations to verify commitment implementation
• Interview owners / managers about sustainability efforts
• Talk with staff about their roles in sustainable practices
• Review documents and supporting evidence
4. EVALUATION & DECISION (WEEK 4)
Once all information is thoroughly reviewed, we conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your business, focusing on:
• Verify meeting 10 of 15 commitments
• Assess consistency, transparency, impact
• Highlight strengths and improvement areas
You can expect to receive our decision along with detailed feedback within 7 working days following the site visit.
5. CERTIFICATION & VISIBILITY (WEEK 4)
If approved, your business will receive a suite of valuable recognition and benefits, including:
• 1-Year Punch Certification Badge (digital + printed frame)
• Online Certification Profile
• The Punch List & Guidebook 2026 Inclusion
• Eligibility for The Punch Awards 2025
• Access to The Punch Community & networking opportunities
Your certification remains valid for 12 months, with the option to renew annually to continue demonstrating your dedication to Bali’s sustainable future.
