Your business is committed to designing clean and functional buildings and/or products to minimize the use of resources, unnecessary waste, and harmful emissions.
Your business is committed to preserving local cultural heritage by incorporating authentic elements of traditional culture in its operations.
When sourcing and purchasing, your business is giving priority to sustainable, local, Fairtrade, organic and/or recycled produce, materials, and suppliers.
Your business is committed to giving equal opportunities to local residents including management positions. Training is offered to local residents.
Your business is committed to engaging its staff in the development and implementation of the sustainability goals.
Your business is committed to ‘no single use plastic’ in its daily operations. Instead, your business is using reusable, natural and biodegradable products.
Your business is committed to having a clear waste management plan with actions to reduce, separate, reuse and/or recycle waste.

Community terms
All businesses joining The Punch must take a minimum of 5 commitments as part of our indicators.
By becoming members of The Punch and being featured on our platform, businesses must ensure that the commitments shared throughout our communication channels are accurate and communicated to their customers.
Businesses that do not uphold our principles will be suspended from our channels until they have re-established their commitments to The Punch ethos.
All applications are subject to approval. Following your application, our team will contact you within 48 hours and assist you through the next steps.
