Each year, The Punch Awards celebrate the businesses, organisations, projects and people raising the standard across Bali, those that combine excellence with meaningful positive impact. Open to everyone on the island, they honour those whose choices are shaping a better future for Bali, from hotels that protect the land they stand on to brands that make beautiful things responsibly.
What began as a small celebration of Bali’s most responsible businesses has become one of the island’s most anticipated moments of the year. Nominated by the public and followed by thousands, The Punch Awards received more than 30,000 votes in 2025.
This year, the top 3 nominees in each of the 18 categories are selected through The Punch Method. Winners are then decided by a combination of public votes and our own assessment, because recognition matters most when it comes from both those who look closely and those who care deeply.

THE SELECTION
Every nomination is reviewed by The Punch through The Punch Method, the same framework we use across all our work. It looks at each nominee through two lenses. Excellence is the quality of what they create: design, service, originality, reputation and cultural relevance. Impact is the good they bring to the people and places around them, across five pillars: Purpose, Upstream, Nature, Circularity and Humanity. We look beyond a single initiative or a good story. We consider what each nominee does consistently, how they operate behind the scenes, and the difference they make over time. Where available, we draw on published information, existing certifications and our own knowledge of the businesses and people we have followed across the island.
NOMINATIONS & VOTING
Open nominations are now closed. Thank you to everyone who nominated a business, project or person who inspires them. Every nomination has been received and will be reviewed. Here is what happens next:
1. The top 3 nominees. In each of the 18 categories, The Punch selects the top 3 nominees through The Punch Method. They will be announced soon on our website and Instagram.
2. Public voting. Once the nominees are announced, voting opens to everyone. Each vote counts towards the final result.
3. The winners. Winners are selected through a combination of public votes and The Punch’s own assessment, so that both the voice of the public and a close look at each nominee’s excellence and impact shape the result.
The winners will be revealed on 1 December 2026.
OUR COMMITMENT
Recognition only has value if it can be trusted. Every nominee is reviewed with the same care and the same framework, whatever its size, budget or fame, so that a small project run by a few dedicated people can stand next to an international brand. No one can pay to be nominated, shortlisted or awarded: nominees are chosen on merit alone. An award is not a certification, and we never present it as one. It recognises what a business or person has achieved and the direction they are taking, not perfection. And the Awards are not only about the winners. Every nominee is proof that a better way of doing business is already happening in Bali, and an invitation for everyone else to follow.
