A Different Way of Traveling
Moon Gang was created to challenge conventional travel experiences by blending creativity, culture, and environmental responsibility. Deeply inspired by Indonesian music, traditions, and storytelling, the space is designed to feel intentional rather than habitual — encouraging guests to slow down, tune in, and experience Ubud with curiosity and care.
Co-Creation & Community
Collaboration is the foundation of Moon Gang. From bamboo artisans and local builders to artists, makers, and staff, every element is shaped through local knowledge, hands, and wisdom. Traditional building techniques are paired with sustainable design, while employment practices prioritize fair wages, growth, and long-term opportunity. Guests are welcomed into a living relationship with the people and culture that shape the space.
Environmental Commitment
Moon Gang’s sustainability approach spans daily operations and long-term vision. Initiatives include rainwater harvesting, composting and zero-waste practices, recycled plastic transformation, chemical-free cleaning, and the use of natural building materials.
