SUSTAINABILITY MANAGEMENT
Komaneka Resorts integrates sustainability with cultural preservation, rooted in Balinese traditions and the Tri Hita Karana philosophy. Founder Koman Wahyu Suteja ensures minimal environmental impact by limiting land use, reducing plastic, and promoting diligent waste management. Construction follows sacred Balinese rituals that honor the land. With a deep respect for heritage, Komaneka combines sustainable practices, intimate hospitality, and cultural tourism to preserve Bali’s natural and cultural legacy for future generations.
EDUCATION & AWARENESS
Komaneka integrates sustainability, cultural preservation, and environmental responsibility into its operations by providing comprehensive staff training that emphasizes these values. Beyond the resort, it actively leads river cleanups and collaborates with local leaders to promote a culture of shared environmental stewardship, fostering a deep connection to Bali's natural and cultural heritage.
ENVIRONMENTAL GUIDELINES
Komaneka follows Balinese traditions to honor and respect the land during building projects, incorporating ceremonies and cultural practices at every stage. The resorts are designed with low-density layouts, such as 35 rooms on 12 acres at Tanggayuda and 37 rooms on 21 hectares at Keramas Beach, to preserve the natural environment. Strict rules on waste management, reduced plastic use, and litter-free construction practices further reflect Komaneka’s commitment to sustainability and responsible development.
