Local & organic purchasing: There is less waste of dye, the ink is printed on demand and can be used on the entire surface of the fabric or for the establishment of specific patterns, reducing the loss of tissue. Ada Perlu is made of natural & sustainable materials such as 100% biological bamboo fabrics.
Sustainable designs: ECOLOGICAL DYEING, certified Standard 100 by Oekotex. We use digital printing, mainly because traditional printing uses chemicals and toxic products released into the wild and rarely processed.
Efficient purchasing & packaging: 100% NATURAL FIBER, our products are handmade without polyester. We use natural fibers like cotton and organic bamboo. Our packagings are made of natural fibers, reusable or biodegradable materials and our labels are printed on recycled paper.
Cultural interaction & heritage: The company values and incorporates authentic elements of traditional local culture in its operations. We are using traditional Indonesian batiks fabric, traditional Balinese packaging. We get inspired from Indonesian culture for all the marketing and products.
Designated by UNESCO as a masterpiece of the oral and intangible heritage of humanity, our fabric is decorated with floral motifs and has varied meanings. Ada Perlu meaning "I need" in Indonesian becomes the essential accessory that blows you, wherever you are, an air of paradise. Our products are designed with attractive qualities and colorful patterns and distributed in traditional Balinese offering boxes minimizing plastic waste.
Ada Perlu also supports THE ROLE FOUNDATION and participates to collect plastic waste on the beach.
